I.Summary

HZ-434 Moisture Tester is designed and manufactured as per the standard of ASTM D95, which is applicable to determine the moisture content in the petroleum products. This kind of tester is produced with simplex-type, duplex-type and triplex-type. And this HZ-434Moisture Tester is the simplex-type.

II.Structure Characteristics

HZ-434 Moisture Tester is mainly comprised of the adjustable electric cabinet and the glassware. Each part of the instrument is strictly in accordance with the standard, and can meet the technical requirements of the standard completely.

IV.Installation

After opening the case, check whether the accessories are complete as per the “Packing List”.

Install at first the vertical column onto the main body and then the universal clamp onto the vertical column, and finally install the glassware.

Turn on the power to start the tester. The voltmeter has indications (continuously adjustable within 0 ~ 220 + 10% V). Heat the flask with electric furnace (the electric furnace’s power is controlled by the solid - state relay).

If the back - flow velocity isn’t suitable for the test, adjust the “Voltage-regulating knob” again to change the power of the electric furnace to control the speed of the back-flow so that it reaches 2 ~ 4 drops per second.

(1)Keep the apparatus clean. Keep the electronic-controlled part from moisture and water.  Keep the apparatus from the dirty thing like oil sample.

(2)It must have good connection with ground to ensure the operator’s safety before using.

(3)When the fault appears, ask a professional person to handle, and forbid dismantling at will.

(4) This instrument has a warranty of one year.
