1. Power
This instrument provides two power sources for testing: AC220V/ DC12V. In the case of strong electromagnetic field interference, it is recommended to use the DC power supply test. In this state, the test value is stable and the ability to resist power frequency interference is strong.
A. DC power supply test:
Close the main power switch (DC12V), the corresponding indicator light is on, close the main power switch, the corresponding indicator light is on, and press the "start/stop" button to start the test. After the test is completed, turn off the main power switch (DC12V), and the corresponding indicator light will go out. After discharging, switch the test clamps and test again.
B. AC power test:
Connect the AC 220V power supply, the corresponding indicator lights, close the main power switch, the corresponding indicator lights, press the "start and stop" button, you can test. After the test is completed, turn off the main power switch (AC220V), the corresponding indicator light is off, after discharging, change the test clamp and test again.
C. Charging:
Connect the AC 220V power supply, the charging indicator light is on, indicating that the rechargeable battery in the machine is being charged. The instrument is using AC power to test and is also charging the internal battery. (The instrument is designed with a charging protection circuit, so there will be no overcharge phenomenon).
2. Connection method of test line:
Connect the I+, V+, V- and I- terminals of the instrument to the test product according to the method shown in Figure 1. This connection method can eliminate the contact resistance at A, B, C, D and the influence of the wire resistance on the measurement. The measured value is the resistance Rx between B, C and (Note: Do not reverse between B and C).
In use, if the length of the test line that comes with the instrument is not enough, you can use a wire with the same diameter to extend the test line.
3. Measurement:
The meter displays "E0000" when the instrument is turned on when the loop is not connected. After connecting the measuring line according to the method in Figure 1, select the resistance file to be measured according to the size of the measured value, press the switch of the file, and the indicator light of the file is on, and the stable value displayed by the four and a half LCD is the measured value. resistance. Please pay attention to the unit on the selected range when reading the value. When measuring large inductance samples such as power transformers, it is best to short-circuit the coils that do not need to be measured outside the test circuit to avoid electromagnetic interference.
4. Discharge:
After the test is completed, the main power supply can be turned off directly. If you are in the inductive test product, you should not disconnect the wire immediately after turning off the power, and let the instrument have a continuous discharge process. Generally discharge at least 20 seconds, otherwise the back electromotive force of the inductance will endanger personal safety.
